went for a stroll in paragon today. got myself an old-time book from adams. then a 'quick' stop in a cd store, coming out with THIS!

little miss lily allen is singing  " f*** you very very much "

  .. C .. U .. T .. E ..

look inside, look inside your tiny mind, then look a bit harder
coz we're so uninspired, so sick and tired, of all the hatred you habour
so you say it's not okay to be gay, well i think you're just evil
you're just some racist, who can't tie my laces
your point of view is medieval

f! you, f! you very very much
coz we hate what you do, and we hate your whole crew
so pls don't stay in touch

f! you, f! you very very much
coz your words don't translate, and it's getting quite late
so pls don't stay in touch

do you get, do you get a little kick out of being small-minded?
you want to be like your father, it's approval you're after
well that's not how you find it
do you, do you really enjoy living a life that's so hateful?
coz there's a hole where your soul should be
you're losing control a bit
and it's really distasteful

f! you!!!!!

this song is just so f***ing cute lily ^^,

maybe a little bit late (as usual), but never out of style!

ladies and gents, please enjoy.. the killers - day & age

:: i did my best to notice when the call came down the line :: up to the platform of surrender :: i was brought but i was kind :: and sometimes i get nervous when i see an open door :: close your eyes, clear your heart... cut the cord ::

are we human? or are we dancer? :: my sign is vital, my hands are cold :: and i'm on my knees, looking for the answer :: are we human? or are we dancer?

:: pay my respect to grace and virtue :: send my condolences to the good :: give my regards to soul and romance :: they always did the best they could :: and so long to devotion :: you taught me everything i know :: wave goodbye, wish me well... you've gotta let me go ::

are we human? or are we dancer? :: my sign is vital, my hands are cold :: and i'm on my knees, looking for the answer :: are we human? or are we dancer?

:: will your system be alright, when you dream of home tonight? :: there is no message we're receiving :: let me know if your heart still beating :: you gotta let me know...

are we human? or are we dancer? :: my sign is vital, my hands are cold :: and i'm on my knees, looking for the answer :: are we human? or are we dancer?

audience, introducing you a fine song about war and its consequences.
very sweet tunes indeed.

oh it's healing - bang bang bang
i can hear your cannons call
you've been aiming at my land
your hungry hammer is falling

and if you want me i'm your country

i'm an angel bored like hell
and you're a devil meaning well
you steal my lines and you strike me dumb
come raise your flag upon me

and if you want me i'm your country
if you win me i'm forever

cause you're the storm that i've been needing
and all this peace has been deceiving
i like the sweet life and the silence
but it's the storm that i believe in

come and conquer and drop your bombs
cross my borders and kill the calm
bear your fangs and burn my wings
i hear bullets singing

and if you want me i'm your country
if you win me i'm forever

cause you're the storm that i've been needing
and all this peace has been deceiving
i need some wind to get me sailing
so it's the storm that i believe in

you fill my heart, you keep me breathing
cause you're the storm that i believe in

and if you want me i'm your country

the philosophy of mr usher and miss chapman

i remembered last time somebody told me that i should write longer stuff. so here you are. a good portrayal of a working-class american life, written by tracy chapman and later covered by my lovely david usher. if you haven't listened to this song, you'd better be now or you'll regret it ;)

not very often these days that you get to listen to a song about a life that's very ordinary. chapman just sings out her stupid plan to get away from the boring life she used to know, to another boring life that she doesn't know so far. hopeless as it is, she's asking someone to come and share this life with her. either "leave tonight or live and die this way" she said. and it could be anyone, friend or lover. and just one acoustic guitar is all they need to melt your brain away, recite this poem into a modern day's equivalent of van gogh's depiction of peasant's lives. yes it is very yellowish.

you got a fast car

i want a ticket to anywhere

maybe we make a deal

maybe together we can get somewhere

any place is better

starting from zero got nothing to lose

maybe we'll make something

but me myself i got nothing to prove

you got a fast car

and i got a plan to get us out of here

i been working at a convenience store

managed to save just a little bit of money

we won't have to drive too far

just cross the border and into the city

you and i can both get jobs

and finally see what it means to be living

you see my old man's got a problem

he lives with the bottle that's the way it is

he says his body's too old for working

i say his body's too young to look like his

my mama went off and left him

she wanted more from life than he could give

i said somebody's gotta take care of him

so i quit school and that's what i did

you got a fast car

but is it fast enough so we can fly away

we gotta make a decision

we leave tonight or live and die this way

i remember we were driving, driving in your car

the speed so fast i felt like i was drunk

city lights lay out before us

and your arms felt nice wrappred round my shoulder

and i had a feeling that i belonged

and i had a feeling i could be someone, be someone, be someone..

you got a fast car

and we go cruising to entertain ourselves

you still ain't got a job

and i work in a market as a checkout line

i know things will get better

you'll find work and i'll get promoted

we'll move out of the shelter

buy a big house and live in the suburbs

so remember when we're driving, driving in your car

the speed so fast i felt like i was drunk

city lights lay out before us

and your arms felt nice wrappred round my shoulder

and i had a feeling that i belonged

and i had a feeling i could be someone, be someone, be someone..

you got a fast car

and i got a job that pays all our bills

you stay out drinking late at the bar

see more of your friends than you do of your kids

i'd always hoped for better

thought maybe together you and me would find it

i got no plan i ain't going nowhere

so take your fast car and keep on driving

you got a fast car

but is it fast enough so we can fly away

we gotta make a decision

we leave tonight or live and die this way

i remember we were driving, driving in your car

the speed so fast i felt like i was drunk

city lights lay out before us

and your arms felt nice wrappred round my shoulder

and i had a feeling that i belonged

and i had a feeling i could be someone, be someone, be someone..

theory of business #4

hurr... sometimes i feel like..

why can't people just say, 'i have made a big mistake, i am sorry'
or 'i really don't know how to do it'
'it's gonna take a long time coz i don't know how to do it, and neither do you'

instead, at work we are pointing our finger to other persons,
pretending that we know what others don't know.
then we are running around in circle, meetings after meetings
trying to find out whose fault it is (which is of course must not be mine)

we only end up going nowhere away from our ground zero..

i wanna go home..

my funny valentine
sweet comic valentine
you make me smile with my heart
your looks are laughable
unphotographable
yet you're my favourite work of art

is your figure less than greek?
is your mouth a little weak?
when you open it to speak
are you smart?

but don't change a hair for me
not if you care for me
stay, little valentine, stay
each day is valentine's day

extreme sounds have told me
they held me down every night
i didn't have much to say
i didn't give up the light
i closed my eyes and closed myself
and closed my world and never open
up to anything
that could get me at all

i had to close down everything
i had to close down my mind
too many things could cut me
too much can make me blind
i've seen so much in so many places
so many heartaches, so many faces
so many dirty things
you couldn't even believe

i would stand in line for this
there's always room in life for this

oh baby.. then it fell apart
it fell apart
like it always does..

the truth about catz and dogs

catzcov is just a dog when she's in love
